i had a 2800 rpm highstall its now in the monty's car it drove perfectly fine as a daily driver in peak hour on the gateway just need to either A) give it more throttle to get off the line at the same speed as stock or just get use to it being a bit doughy and just taking your time giving it a stab got lots of poke off the line The fuel economy was hardly effected if at all (didn't notice any real difference) there is a big difference between a 2800-3000rpm stall and a 4000-5000rpm v8 monster style stall which you need to give curry to move well just a side note my fully built BTR 4 speed auto with mechanical shift kit and extra clutch packs and all the box and dice of a full on build is still for sale was built to go behind a 450kw AU XR6 Turbo the up shift does chirp the tyres if your up it but is very snappy and positive at any throttle position the box ran great up until i got t boned and the driveline wasn't damaged at all has been removed from the car and is sitting waiting for sombody to buy it im after $800 was serviced when it was fitted to the car not even 30k km ago i think it was (Wasn't in there long) probably not even 80k km on the box since it was build by a shop in toowoomba(the name escapes me but it was the "good" one of the 2 that are up there there is no torque converter as it was sold everybody who knows my old fairlane wanted to buy my gearbox but nobody has the $ in their hot little hand so its still for sale shoot me a PM if your interested Thanks Brenden
