Am not a mechanic and have not had a carby 351 Clevo for 25 years plus so to have a sweet 351 running PERFECT on petrol is a conplete joy that can not be compared. Almost. The SOUND !!! is soooooooo much better than on gas Cant wait for the weekend. I am gunna give her a burble up through the Hills to Birdwood for a geez at the really old cars and a coffee. [followed by a frothy when we get home]

My latest contribution, gasses out the back shed and gives you a mild headache before you even clunk it into gear, still love it and will be back on the road in another month

If you drove an Aluminium V8 P76 auto you would like it
You can fit a 44 in the boot , Power steering quite fast I like dirty old sixes , to me they are the real ford engine I saw a good picture of Henry and Tom Edison and Harvey Firestone together , I will try and post it

Mind V8's don't "need to be" stinking or guzzling...

Well I've had lots of them over the years. None went chug a chug, none used 30/100 k's well maybe if I was in a real hurry and I've yet to find a turbo snot box that goes like that.
A well tunes 8 can even get good fuel consumption in the country on a quiet night when no ones looking, ok they could hear the thing miles away. |

Love old V8s of any brand or make.
My dream car is a '69 Mustang Mach 1. Hopefully in a couple of years I'll get one. Though the engine may be swapped out for a more modern V8.
