Just realised on the weekend that my suspension is Super low front and Super Super Low rear. Apparently thats what they do to get the car even.
Suppose they know what their doing. I thought that it would be SL in Front & SL in rear. Oh well happens. My mates tell me it looks mean now. will get photos soon

Hi All,
I Lowered my Au a few months back front and rear with king spring "superlows" now the ride was great after getting sick of looking at a car been fitted with the XR optioned suspension set-up "**** was higher"and way too soft for my liking anyways. I fixed that with the new springs then went for a harder rate shock then put in a camber kit due to the wheels having serious camber after lowering now ive got a car that handles great and doesnt bounce all over the road.

Krusty
im still buggered why they put super superlows on the rear with mine. you obviously have superlows front & rear. im wondering wether i should take it back. They told me superlows would be another 10-15mm higher than what it is at the moment. so that means it will be lowered only 15-20mm from original.

solved my own problem. rang another king springs suspension installer and they advised that they do exactly the same to bring the car level. This also occurs with the Magnas as their **** end sits up high as well

xr6007,
yeah the more i think about its probably better to leave as is. Its just that I saw some au's on the weekend which appeared to have the tyres closer to the gaurd then mine and they looked awsome.

A question to the administrators. Is it possible that we can add and gather all the info on lowering a AU's and add it on the AUFALCON website under work shop or tech help. I'll be happy to gather info from pedders and other suspension places and place it on the website with their permission of course.

Give it a shot, we can post it up here and try to fine tune it to a consensus

Yeah, very true.
There are many factors to take into consideration when lowering! Eg. Track use, daily driveability, insruance etc. |
