just go to a tyre joint and if they are any decent they should be able to get you in a single rim.

but if it were me, i'd just get a stocky as a spare.
you'll find that the wheel well isnt deep enough to fit a wide rim into...and it will stick up, lifting the carpet......
plus, you're hardly ever using ya spare.. for the small amount that it gets used - its no use running a mag wheel as a spare...

I didn't like it at first either, but you're right it grows on you. I didn't like it much in sunlight but my EB looked great at night.

Default XR Front end search

Sorry if this is a bad place for it but does anyone know if it is possible to get EL XR front ends in Cardinal Red? and if so any ideas on how difficult it will be to find?

best bet would be to find a front bumper and get it sprayed.

On my build plate it has KJ and in my owners manual it says Amethyst. Anyone heard of this colour? Its got Ford New Zealand on the build plate, so either all the imports have that or mines NZ built, that would explain the wheels, different trim and Fairmont interior door inserts - But I thought they had stopped assembling here by 1992.

The colour is similar to Quartz but a quite a bit more grey, you can see a hint of purple in certain lights.
