Nah Doug's wideband didn't work, but he reckons he'll have it all sorted out tonight. Something about a connection that was supposed to be pre done.

Anyone know what size Steve's (rmyers') cooler is?

And can anyone also confirm that it will fit behind an EA bar without cutting anything? Steve doesn't get on here much anymore but I figure that Thanatos or John or someone may know

Here's a couple of photos of it:

It looks like a 450x300 core but I'm not sure, can someone please clear it up so I can order a cooler :'(

i'm honestly not sure what size it is.
in terms of fitting without cutting, i don't know, as u know his bar has been cut a little, but its not bad..
one thing worth mentioning though, steves chassis rails have been cut to allow the cooler piping to fit.

I think the cooler piping is acually welded to the chassis rails.

Eh Dan I got work tonight, I think Doug wants the laptop though. He's going to try it on his car or something.

John, from those pics I can't see why they would have cut the chassis rails? Looks like the pipes clear the rails well and truly.

I don't have Steve's number :( And from memory, he didn't know what size it was either :( Someone go to his house and measure it

its only a very small amount of the rails... maybe 1/2 the width of the pipe.

Fair enough. It's good to learn these things ;) That's what's so great about the Forums

Good luck with scoring a cooler Sunny, and if I ever come across a Hothouse EA :the_finge in Melbourne, I'll have to quickly slip up a side alley & hide for a while... :

Yeah, Steve your car rocks!! psssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, luv it.

his dumper is 3.5 inch, looks mad, but he's all paranoid about it melting paint, or something to that effect.

We gunna get a monday meet crackin again soon ?

I need to pop that 14 stocko.

While i'm in this thread, Sunny can I borrow your axle stands on the weekend. Oh and if you wanna help with the 5 speed conversion, there would be some cash in it for ya. ;) ;) Only thing i'm not confident about is getting the car up high enough and alligning the clutch, though apparently it's easy, and you can buy a tool to do it.

Um yeah I guess Damo.

We'll probably be screwing around with my car all weekend (for the 15th in a row or something lol) but if your not doing anything Monday maybe.

Steve the outlet from the turbo is 3", it's 3" all the way AFAIK.

Everything's wrong with 4 or 5PSI

4 or 5 psi on a decent engine would make some decent power!

my car made 180rwkw on 4-5 psi. Dan could only manage 6 kw more and he was running 11psi.

but soon i'll be running 12, 5 is nothing!!
