Mmmm... XA-XC Falcon styling, with the driveline of the current Falcon. To me, it would simply be the perfect car. Too bad it will almost certainly never happen :( |

As with the sedans, utes, vans, coupes, Fairlanes and LTDs, my favourite Falcon wagon has to be the XA-XC series.

Now, when I said that I didnt think it would happen so soon! Picking up a Le mans red EF with EL XR front end, rear spolier etc on wed! Close enough to the real deal for me and will look killa dropped on my GTP's whilst the ghia hides in the shed for winter. |

I reckon the xr-xy series wagons were the best looking, then the xk-xp, then the EA-EL, the rest don't appeal, especially the au-bf, they really didn't put much of an effort in when they designed that rear end..

For me, the XC is the best. I love that kickup of the back doors, the swing out tail gate and the factory wind deflector. The AU fairmont wagon in black with roof racks and sunroof is quite nice. A clean white EA wagon looks good and modernistic like a space shuttle. With EF/EL the mismatched wheel arches detract.

I like the AU XR wagon.
I'd like an XE wagon, Use to be a red S pak around Beaudesert years ago and my old folks use to have a blue XE wagon with a cammed 250.

See the EF Wagon, the front looks 'melted' compared to the rear.

This is as close as your getting to it till I have given it some TLC. It cost $1500- for a reason. LOL
But it will ferry me about for a few months no worries. By mhgill at 2011-05-27 |
