If it was a Holden add, everyone will say how awesome it was and how Ford / FPV should take a leaf out of their books............

Well make it an Ice Break ad then. But primarily focus on the car "Performing" (with maybe a bottle of Ice Break in the cup holder :p ) They seemed to get away with sliding a VE ute around. Or there whole "Add a motor to it"

Or just advertise on cable.

Holden are smarter than Ford in this regard:

On the ad, it's better than most of what Ford trot out but I still find it limp and uninspired.

Not a bad ad
Something that should have been done years ago....not on the Eve of the falcon platform cessation.

If FPV wanna sell Cars fast for the time being ...some end of year financial MAJOR discounting would work better than this ad ever will.

If FPV wanna sell Cars for the long run ...they need to stop "focus" ing on the falc and start looking around at what other platforms that Ford are investing in.

If Herrods can go out and design an aftermarket exhaust system that meets ADR 's etc ....beats me why FPV can't wake up and do something similar with FPV branded "aftermarket" goodies.

I'd much rather visit their campbellfield STORE and browse through some performance bolt on hardware than those cheap t-shirts and coffee mugs that litter the shop front. They'd probably line their pockets a hell of a lot more as well.

So.....although this ad is nice to watch.....it serves nothing really to help FPV's coffers. Unless of course they save some big coin by sacking their GM....lol

Your kidding right? Holden hit the nail with those adds/promotions. companys pay big bucks to put their products in movies ect. The last i heard in the new james bond film, he isnt drinking a martini anymore, its a heineken (something along those lines)

Holdern nailed those conjoint adds with icebreak

Good ad but I agree with ESP if they would get into supplying the aftermarket modders , many of whom get on this forum, with FPV branded parts then I certainly would be happier and would buy them. I get the impression, rightly or wrongly , that mother Ford do not want them to do that and hence compete with Walkinshaw performance, probably for image and warranty issues, who knows.

That's it? GT's driving around the track with Moffat making an appearance. Trying to see the positive, but its not very exciting.

Not sure the fun-police would like that type of advertisment, yeap all the fun and games are quasi banned, we live more and more like communists then they do!

Pity really......

This advert. is correct, they have done the market testing and is showed as correct.

The actual BUYER, ie the one who can afford to buy a GT/FPV is more likely to associate with Moffat and be his age group than a youngen.
