No ИИИИin way! Another Necro fan.

For those that don't know, Necro is prob the closest you'd get to a hip hop equivalent of death metal.

Nice choice.

Death Metal and Hip Hop in the same sentence should be against the law.

I love my death metal (disgorge, devourment, suffocation etc) but I also love my death rap.

Give some tracks of Necro's Prefix For Death album a go. Its a mix of metal/rap.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...357918-8502246

Its converted more than a few metal fans.

I could go on for hours about what music I like but here's just a quick run down.
TSOL, Black Sabbath, Hammerfall, Morgana Lefay, Slayer, Metal Church, Warrior Soul, Savatage, Pink Floyd, Rose Tattoo, ZZ Top, AC/DC.
I also like Country music too. Lee Kernaghan, Alan Jackson, Shooter Jennings, Travis Tritt, Kasey Chambers and of course the legendary Slim Dusty.

Well it's normally Ozzie or Metallica or similar, but since seeing these guys recently for the first time since the late 70s, I think I now have a soft spot for Status Quo again!

Geesh , what can I say ? ? got no particular band I'm a "Fan" of ... I'm more of a "song person" , Ive got everything from Jim Reeves / Perry Como / Peter Paul & Mary to Kiss/Poison/Motley Crue/Led Zep./Chisel/Dragon/Guns n Roses . Might like 1-2 songs from a band & hate the rest !!!! , Let's just say 50's-06, anything thats "Musical". Even my kids say "dad , you can't like that , it's our kinda music" :

People say that evanescence was inspired by/copied lacuna coil, but the fact is they were both formed in 1994, and released their EP's around 1998.

Actually, if the truth be known BOTH of the mentioned bands (neither of which I like at all) were inspired/influenced by none other than the superior dutch band The Gathering. Some credit must also go to The 3rd & the Mortal for their excellent early/mid 90's outputs, however these are certainly more folk rather than goth music.
The Gathering's 1995 full length "Mandylion" started it all folks! ....and incidently, IMO this release has yet to be challenged by any other clone bands since.
