I haven't been to SCA etc to look for alternatives, was just wondering what are these called, perhaps availability of originals?
Are you referring to the clips labelled HC1 in the image below:

GT,
I managed to obtain a working electric car aerial for the AU2.

Problem is, the plug connector is missing.

Would those plug connectors still obtainable? If not, do you have a diagram / pic as to what they look like?

Thanks bondy.

If it's like this ebay one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/23494409...Bk9SR_zms4H7YQ do you mean the pliug on the blacker aerial coax or the power cable red and green wires i.e. this bit hat's wrapped in foam?

If so, you should be able to crimp a two pin molex like this on https://www.altronics.com.au/p/h2309...ine-connector/ to the wire you have and on the aerial. RS Components likely will have the exact fitting part if that's your preference see https://au.rs-online.com/web/c/conne...rchTerm=molex. etc. Possibily this https://au.rs-online.com/web/p/wire-...-plugs/7976569 but if not, and you search with the string "Molex 2-way" on the RS Components site you'll find other options in the thousands they list..

If the aerial coax this: https://www.altronics.com.au/p/p0184...-antenna-plug/ or https://www.jaycar.com.au/solderless...0f94423916de00 will do it.

aussieblue,
Yes, it's the power cable plug where the green and red wires go into.

Photo does help.
Cheers.

Thanks for checking GT, I'm unsure if those are the same, but these are the clips I'm after in this trim. I lost 2 of them and the others are sooo rusted, it started to rust the lip they clip into as well.:

Hi GT,
I do understand. I too have not seen what it looks like, the image I seen earlier was wrapped around with some type of foam material.

The only number on it is VT3273. And the matrix thingy denoting the manufacturing year and month.

Don’t spend much of your time on this one GT, if this number doesn’t lead to anything, i can just stick the trim back with some good quality double sided tape 👍

They are wrapped in foam to prevent them rattling behind the dash. I think the EL used the same power antenna if that's any help. My parts microfiche for the EF /ELdoes not list the connector as a separate part though.

Yeh should not be an issue, $80 plus postage (radiator cap not included).

If you need the cap as well they are obsolete so would need to go searching.

Hi Jason,

Part number of the hub to knuckle bolts is W705821S439, $19.50 each and still available. I am sure there are 3 per side required. $10 for tracked postage if need be.

The arrow points to where a steel water transfer pipe sockets into a cast alloy housing which also supports the thermostat above.

(Picture from BBT Jap Parts of Lambton NSW, via Fleabay.)

Is the o-ring seal for that steel pipe, anything unusual like a square profile? I have a modest leak on the Territory’s one, and maybe also the white ute… If it’s a specific Ford part, are they still available? (I’m using 2:1 green coolant which has a knack of finding small leaks.)
