i have found the champ cars a bit easier to get spot on than the V8's, and also a lot better consistancy

Champ cars chew through the tyres though, you really need to rotate through them during practice, or you lose one set for the race....

One thing i dont understand is, is which pit stop strategy is best to run?

i'm happy to sacrifice one set of softs for practice, and then use a second set of softs for qualifying, then after that i follow the engineers tyre advice for the race.
never ran out of softs or any other compound.

pit stategy is a hard one, trial and error i supose. seen 4 stops win a race when the rest of the feild used 2 stops.

2 Stops seemed to be ok in the first race... I came somewhere in the lower half of the top 10, 2nd race tomorrow should be very interesting.... Should be a quick season having only one feature race per round, instead of 3 in the V8SC

yep just finished 2 seasons, so I thought I would fill a spot up again. good luck with this championship guy's dont forget to post up settings in team talk so we can all get close to perfect setups. also a good change to have a couple of team mates I know are going to stick around for the whole championship.

I am stopping all my private games.
1. I can't keep up and
2. They don't count towards my World Ranking anyway. And would rather focus on the publics.

Cheers

WOO HOO!
They finally solved the "AWOL Players" Problem.
You can now select from a list of games where the driver has gone AWOL, and replace that driver. The driver has to be absent for more than 3.5 days.
And if you have someone go AWOL on you, you can advertise it on the BATracer forum, and find a replacement.
These mid season championships do not count towards your world ranking but.

Cheers

I would rather join these "Mid Season" games and help someone out, then start private games.
It should help some people hang about too, instead of being scared off in their first season because of an AWOL team mate.

All my new team mates are glad they have someone who actually shares settings!

I haven't been on Batracer for at least 2 months now. Had a break, ended up playing too much! :
Come back, and here's the Le-Man Series! This looks good!
Hows everyone going?
