Any car from these new chinese makers is terribly ugly
i don't mean to be racist in any way but why do asians always thing such ugly things are beautiful? 2006 Hongqi Benteng    2007 (Chinese) Landwind Fashion MPV   2006 Shuanghuan CEO Now this car has nothing to do with SsangYong even though the badge looks similar. They obviously were looking the the BMW X5 when they styled this, and decided to pinch the headlights off a prado. UCK!! |

I don't mind the black Benteng you have illustrated. But it could do without the chrome, seems like overkill for such a light car but I think that is just a marketing thing to suit specific culture requirements. Looking at it further, the shoulder/waist seems a bit harsh on the overall shape.
Did you know that a Chinese company has resumed development of the failed British Rover product? I saw some spy shots of the new Rover 75 somewhere, looks very similar to the last one. Be interesting to see what they do to it as I think it's being developed for sale only in China.

have u driven one though?
terrible handling and horribly noisy i think the new Proton Savvy looks pretty cool for a small car, shame the engine is so small, its also got great equipment for a $13,990 car. I've heard that the lotus suspension is one of the best in class and it is a lot of fun to drive. |
