Goes off your last tax return. If you haved moved you have to ring the ATO and change your address. I did mine on Thursday. You'll need last years tax info as ID.

they just put it into that same account.
if you got it as a cheque they will send it to the address they have on file for you

Where did you read that? I'd like to check up on that because it would be useful if it is true.

As far as what my bribe money is going to be used for...going on the visa. I did my bit for the economy by buying an FG XR6 2 months ago.

Would I be eligible for this?

I think I only earned around the 5k mark that year. I paid $128 in tax and claimed it back due to me being under $6k (no tax).

It says:

your adjusted tax liability for 2007-08 is greater than zero (that is, you paid more than $0 in tax) .

So am I able to get the $900?

Sorry mate, you must have paid tax for the year (you got all your tax back) after tax offsets and franking credits. Which means you must have earned at least around $11k for the year to have paid tax after the low income offset is applied.

Have a look on the ATO website, shows on there how they work it out from your 2008 assessment better than i can explain it. www.ato.gov.au

I'm gonna buy 3 slabs of beer, a bottle of Jack, a few packs of cigarettes and fill up the XP, EF and Magna with premium. That's all Kruddy will allow me to stimulate the economy with. Last pay cheque had $770 tax removed, so that combined with the high excise on fuel, liquor and tobacco should hopefully put some money back into paying off the package.

Ill probably put it in savings untill my car sells. When it sells ill use what ever i need to pay out the loan if needed. Then spend the rest on EF to get it roadworthy, needs a couple of tyres, battery and a couple other small things.

depends if im working or not, either a engine rebuild, a mild low comp engine for turbo, or may need it to live for a few weeks.

I would have thought some stray dogs and a jar of Vegemite would be more appropriate for the situation, has the nasal spray worked?
