just a heads up, i put a deposit down on a new 2014 plated f6 yesterday. - i also requested it be a manual, as i live in flowing hills.

The dealer said i would be quite hard pressed to get one, but they will try.

As I said earlier the F6's are being run out now, we are building a lot of them at the moment but they are supposed to finish up in April.

No official news on a limited run. Stock has been allocated up to a certain month this year so there is still more stock to be ordered. What exactly we don't know.

What? So this thread is legit and not a sales tactic created by a money hungry dealer?!

I have ordered a 2014 plate F6 which should be delivered in mid March.

Can't wait.

After my order, the dealer said they had 6 cars allocated this quarter.

So no more GS sedans??
Guess they slowed these down to push buyers in that price bracket into the Xr8. Whatching the second hand prices going through the roof lately.
6 months ago you could get a GS 10"-11" for low 30's now low 40's, or a GT of the same years for low 40's now pushing into the 50's. Second hand dealers are loving this hype...

searched high and low and managed to pull in a GT from a dealer. It had no stripes so we R-spec'ed it.

I think it is a combination of a couple of things ..

1 - The obvious drop in price of around 10k

2 - The knowledge that they will stop making them very soon

3 - Get one now or miss out forever

4 - They are awesome cars

5 - Best bang for your buck anywhere in the world.

Until the price drop was announced they were making SFA. As soon as the announcement was made the order quantity went up 7 fold.

They had to as there was a hell of an investment in the engine. Ford can charge less as they have no R&D to recoup!

$50m into the engine wasnt it?

Wonder why they didnt consider the blown 5.4 from the GT500 at the time.
