BA & BF XT - Fairmont models have the exhaust dumped behind the bar....... so i fail to see how it could be ilegal...

it is however ilegal to dump the exhaust within i think its 30cm of the rearmost opening....ie, before the diff in a sedan

Body kit was purchased from AWC, only thing that needs to be done is attach it to the existing bumpers.

OK some more progress pics. We started peicing the interior back together, and if all goes well tomorrow, dash and carpets should be in.

The interior needs a real good clean up, as about 2 years in storage hasn't done wonders for em.

lots of progress made today
90% of the interior is in, door trims waiting on speaker wiring, as are a pillars.

rear of the car is done pretty much 100% exterior wise.

back into it tomorrow

Ok guys/gals, we pulled the car out to get some decent pics of her in it's current state. There are alot of little things that still need to be done before we can attempt to start her, plus things such as the side skirtz, door moulds, fitting front bar properly etc. Unfortunately, we've decided that she wont be attending the glenmaggie camp/cruise, main reason being is that i dont trust taking it on such a long cruise only hours after she's been put back together. Also, i would like to unveile her in it's entirity, meaning i would rather show up with a fully completed car rather than one that still needs this and that done to her. Expect to see it back on the road for GOR, i promise this time :P

Anyways, enough rambling, here are the pics ;)

More progress shots will be uploaded once the complete kit is put on

Love the look of that car. Shame it won't be at glenmaggie. When you originally said it would make it there, I didn't think it would be anywhere near finished by the time Glenmaggie came round. You've done better than expected, but still a shame it won't be there

if we really wanted to, the car could have been done by friday, how ever there are a number of things that we'd be 'rushing'. a number of things that we really shouldn't rush as they're just gunna bite us in the **** later.
hence why we've got to this point and decided to take our time and do it right, rather then having to get under there and repair things later.
Atleast its this far, you can almost hear it ;)

steve that looks fantastic - love the last two shots.

are you putting a sprint or ed xr lip on it at all ? bootline looks a little sharp in comparison to the kit you have on it. Great work either way.
