Well, I'm now totally stunned.
Its finally happened.

A mobile phone ringtone has now become No 1. on the UK charts!!!!

considereing we all saw it as a formula 1 type powerpoint about 2 years ago, just shows how strange the UK is getting.

I too am getting sick of these dumb ringtone and animated wallpaper ads. Unfortunately though i beleive theyre here to stay.... along with those instant connections ads, and meet new people ads.... Grrrrrrrrr

What a stupid song. I didn't know it from the name, so just now I downloaded the first few seconds, then remembered I have actually heard that song... and wanted my few seconds back.

Speaking of mobile ringtones, Jamster is the most gawd-awful website in the world. It shoves heaps of adware and spyware onto your pc the second you even THINK about next month perhaps looking at their website

I don't go near sites like that, I just download MIDI's and put them on my phone via the infra red port. Same thing with wallpapers, save them, resize them and send them to the phone.

yeh those ads are shit. if anyone has foxtel/austar and are a regular viewer of any of the music channels especially MTV it's just gets beyond the joke. and they were on there a long time before they were on free to air AFAIK.

Don't get me started on this one .... I just hate phones that have an inferirority complex and want to pretend to be (a very poor) something else. If I want a camera, MP3 player, FM radio, PDA, video camera or *** flosser then I'll buy one - I don't need it built into a bloody phone.

The cameras are universally crap even at 1.3 MP; video even worse; FM radio and MP3 players make a 50's transistor sound hi-fi and it's got me stuffed who would want a PDA on a postage stamp sized screen.

Must just be getting old.

I disagree....I bought my phone for a phone, and it happens to have a 1.3MP camera in it, capable of recording video...MP3 player as well...which plays mp3's quite well.

I dont have the need for an MP3 player, and wouldnt have bought 1 seperate, and have a 4+MP digital camera..its just for those times when you wish you had your camera on you...and you have your phone handy

as for jamster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate it!!!!!!!!!! as mentioned above, MTV etc is the worst for it.

the ringtones they advertise are not only ridiculously over priced, they are just the shittest ringtones ever! I have MP3 songs as my ringtones. not some stupid frog, or a farting pair of monkeys!!!!!! they are so stupid

you also agree that when u buy 1 of those u will buy anohter 3-5 per month etc....its a pretty good money making scam for those guys...but please stop the ads!!!!!!

I have an 11 year old daughter. She finds all of this stuff hysterical, and I am sure if I had let her have a mobile phone, she would have tried to get most of them. Good reason to further postpone her getting a mobile phone, it seems!
