It has silver mirrored amber bulbs behind so it flashes amber. (Plain amber bulbs make it appear amber all the time, which defeats the purpose)

I wanted to do this for a long time, but it does involve removing the headlights and cutting into the back of the headlight unit. It took me a while to get my head around whether I actually wanted to cut the headlights, but it was cool in the end. Used a very sharp thin knife blade, and "welded" the plastic piece back into place using a soldering iron.

Instructions here:

http://www.focusclearlens.com/how_to.htm

Had to get the silver bulbs from the UK because the Phillips ones here only come with an offset pin. However, 2 pair with a straight pin, plus freight, was still cheaper than the Ricerbarn price for a single pair.

Next step is replacing rear tailights with the new "mono" version of my current lights:

http://www.dcp-shop.co.uk/buy-car-ac...ducts_id=14197 ,

and nightshading the red reflectors, so my whole car exterior will be monochrome. No colour in sight other than silver black and white.

Why monochrome? No reason other than that has always been my vision of my car and it makes me happy.....plus monochrome adds a further 17.6 kW!!!

That final step will have to wait a little while because those tailights are not cheap, but I'm happy to talk anyone interested in buying my current tailights at a very good price!!!!!
