Default The BF's are ON!

I am so wrapped with how well it turned out, I thought I should share with my fellow AU fans! All criticism welcome. I took the photos as soon as I got back to my parents house. It was really bright, so they aren't the best quality, but I couldn't wait!

I'm so tempted to get rid of my azzuros (pain in the butt to maintain too) and going a set of BF 5 spoke wheels........

How much did the set you back?

Looks awesome, i think they are better then the BA 18's and they look better on an AU then a BF. Maybe because of the straight sharp edges on them

Thanks heaps everyone! I was surprised how well the suit the AU shape! I was also thinking they look better on it than a BF, but I didn't want to say it! :P

I wasn't really planning on changing wheels until next year, but these came up at such a good price, I couldn't say no! The catch is that they came from a ute that had been rolled I believe, so they do have a few imperfections on them. I am not too worried though, because they look so damn nice!

They really do set off the shape of the AU nicely.

Well done.

They are a nice rim, and they look fantastic against the colour of your car. I've said for a while now that the BF XR8 rims are so much nicer than the BA XR8 rims. I think this pic proves it

Cheers again guys, it seems that now when I am going somewhere, it takes me a lot longer to actually get in the car, not sure why?

The car is currently on regular Low height. I have a pair of Super Low springs I was planning on putting in the back, but now I am not too sure if I really need to. I am surprised how much difference the bigger wheels have made. They seem big for 18 inch. When I opened the boot to get them out, my tyre guy asked me if I was sure they are not 19's!

You know what, shut up! :P Nah, I realised that half way through putting it on, but it was too late. I only had two, and I like the look of the one on the rear screen, so I just put the second one on for the sake of people who drive by when its parked! :

They look very good - sort of a cross between AU Pursuit rims and BA GT rims. Really suit the AU shape well. You have a very nice looking Mont.

I love these rims, but theyre no match for T3's :hihi:

Seriously though, they look brilliant. And Im not keen on B series rims on AU's either for the record, but tehse I like a lot.

There is some life left in the old AU yet, Cheers guys! Sorry I couldn't hold out for your rims LG, I am an impatient guy, its a curse! The posibility of some body kit parts had crossed my mind previously, but now that the 18's are on, I don't think it needs it. I quite like the look as is. I think I will have to spend the money on getting it to go as good as it looks now!
