hey guys, well as the title says the right screw to remove the perspex on the cluster is cross threaded..its impossible to get out! i know the only real way to get it out would be to basically brake the perspex but i dont wanna do that so do you think the best idea would be to go to ford and get them to try and get it off? cheers!

Dont know what cluster you have but on mine there are no screws holding the perspex on it clips in to place. My cluster has 2 screws up the top under plastic cover caps on the perspex that once removed give access to the screws. The screws hold the cluster in and they screw into one of those sheet metal backing clips which may be turning if thats what your refering to.

You can get the handle of a screw driver up the dash and behind the cluster (I can't remember where from). Put a bit of pressure on the back of the cluster und try to unscrew it. You wont break anything.

my mate and his dad tried but it wont work the screw is that badly cross threaded it just refuses to come out and i do not want any scratches or marks on the dash which i know that would happen if u try and push a screw driver in there. |

i think he means like from down where the pedals are because a screwdriver is skinny it gets where your arm cant ;)
to put a bit more pressure on it from behind
