Hi there.
I own a series 2 AU and was wondering what brand of pads I should buy to replace the old ones with? Which brand is going to be best bang for my buck? Are there really brakes pads that dont squeal? I just do normal day to day driving, but drive alot. I dont want to buy shitty ones, thanks guys! Sorry if this thread has already been up??? |

I'm getting due and the group buy doesn't look like happening soon so I'm after options as well. |

I'm using the UP's as well - like JC said they perform well and very little breakdust. My mechanic also said they are not a direct replacement for the advances but are the closest to

Thanks guys, good to start up this discussion for others as well. I think I'll be looking at some Bendix pads then.

Incidentally, I grabbed my front and rear sets of Bendix Ultra Premiums from Supercheap the other day for $101~. (20% off). They're normally $125~ for front and rear together, which isn't too bad really.

I have been using General CTs for some time now ... they are a pretty clean pad to run ... even with heavy loads and a lot of hard braking at times in traffic ... my wheels remain dust free.
The only reason why my wheels are dirty is due to my dirt/mud driveway.
