Default Average Price of AU I Water Pump

Hey guys just wondering ive been quoted $388 for the fitting of a water pump + coolant for my AU I forte, now i thought this was reasonable until I saw this on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-FALCON-W...1%7C240%3A1318

Am i getting ripped off or is there really that much labour to justify that kind of price for fitting?

Cheers

To do your water pump you need to remove your radiator, which isnt the easiest of jobs... plus the water pump price... plus power flushing... plus conditioner...

$120ish for labour
$50 for parts
$15 for flush and pressure test
$15 conditioner
$200 total... thats a rough qoute if my father or I was doing it... and we'd even pressure test the radiator, pressure clean it and maybe even paint it...
Add another $150 and you'd have the radiator fully serviced aswell :P

I have to admit my rims were a good price, Advanti Crypts 18'' with brand new tread for 750. Still $750 haha :P
