There’s an awesome video clip in this link. What sort of person would complain about the noise of an Enzo screaming at full tilt?
Remember….NEWS.com.au does not encourage or condone speeding. Watch and enjoy… http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599...l?from=mostpop Cheers

Mr Rana is seen driving his Lamborghini at 339km/h.
NEWS.com.au also doesnt check their facts nor watch their source videos. Mr Rana only drove ferraris in clip, first the enzo, then the turbo 360. douche bags. Its not hard to get simple facts right. |

Tracy Grimshaw says… Well, it looks like Australia isn’t the only place that has a HOON, I’ll say that word again HOOOON problem. Police in Canada and the USA have arrested 45 street racers in exotic cars and claimed that they were reaching speeds in excess of 750 km/h. :hihi:

it just annoys me that people who are trying to pass themself off as knowledgeable, clearly know nothing or dont pay enough attention.
Eg, wheels claiming the new soon to be released "Boss" engine isnt OHC, just clearly wrong, no other explanation. But now there is 30 odd post on this forum about how great a new pushrod engine is gonna be. I just hope that Lamborghini is what is in the police report and that he takes it to court. Prosecutor: "did you drive your lamborghini at 339kmph???" Mr Rana: "no... ...i drove my ferrari at 339kmph" Judge: CASE DISMISSED |

one point i'd also like to raise.
it shows the difference between the top and the bottom end of the "hoon" market. These guys take expensive exotic cars that were made to go fast, stop fast and turn well. They travel hourse for a blast, do stupid speeds, YES. but, the travelled way way way out of town on a piece of road they had checked out beforehand. Did u see any trees or people or houses close to the road? no. was the car full of their mates? no. yes they were breaking the law and those kinda speeds are ridiculous on a public road but they were the only ones likely to die if something went wrong. contrast that to the bottom end of the market, in the middle of noble park, in a maccas carpark with a load of mates in the poorly modified vn or wrx, doing stupid speeds in a built up area on roads that they dont know/dont know whats on them. how many ferraris crash as a direct result of hoon behaviour and kill anyone apart from the driver???? ask the same question for any performance commodore? |

Here’s the link to the You Tube video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrsaeUJgymo Interestingly it’s the first time that I’ve ever heard anyone pronounce the name Gallardo correctly. It’s actually pronounced Gahardo. The ll’s are silent. :hihi:

settle down with the personal attacks mate. i was using the commodore as an example. They are a highly popular model and affordable and accessable to those of lower socio economic standards. Just as ferrari is a very popular with the other end of the spectrum. I didnt mention every model of high end car either, so are you going to call me one eyed for only mentioning ferrari??? What about porche, pagani, mercedes, bmw, saleen, bugatti. Am i a moron because i didnt mention other brands at the high end of the scale. I did not attack commodore drivers as my brother is infact one. I merely suggested a comparison of statistics on the ammount of passenger deaths in these cars when the accidents could be attributed to excess speed. the facts are that commodores are most confiscated cars under the new hoon laws in victoria How many ferraris have been impounded??? i dare say not as many on a comparitve scale (eg, number of registered ferraris/number of registered commodores) and therefore it makes the best example of the end of the market that I was talking about. It would no doubt be similar with imports and falcons of the same vintage, BUT AGAIN, I WAS USING AN EXAMPLE. it has nothing to do with the commodore being unsafe or the majority of people that drive them. I was talking about statistics. and i did mention wrx's as well, as an example of cheap import performance cars. so read before you write, CLOWN and this is a ford forum, so i could be as biased as i want to be against fords major competitor if i wanted to. im pretty sure they dont always get well thought out, peer reviewed unbiased posts on LS1.com.au either??? i suggest that you find a tree branch, a piece of rope that is shorter than the length from the branch to the ground by 9 feet and make a nice 'neck swing.' Nice, I was just watching some videos of the Cannonball run they have over in the states (the real one, not the John Candy one) - looks like fun. Might have to go over one day, though it will probably just result in me getting tazered and deported.

I believe that no ferraris have impounded due to the new hoon laws in victoria due lack of terminal speed of pursuit vehicles...

Plus im guessing you wont be driving at the speed limit so you will need some extra cash for fines etc ....... I was actually bored at work one day and came up with a budget for the run... i think i worked out to close to $50,000 just to get their and run your car (inc petrol and some meals as well as spare parts and what not) One day!
