Question Mp3 players & batteries.

Hey peoples, The Maddestman bought me a 512Mb Mp3 player (*Hi Dan! :P *), the only problem I'm having with it is getting batteries to last more than 4 hours.

It takes 1 AAA battery and I haven't been able to find any titanium batteries for it (I don't think they make them in AAA).

Any ideas apart from trying to find rechargable AAA's?

You can get a Rechargable AAA battery from dicksmith and I even wierdly saw expencive Rechargable ones at safeway last week while shopping.. cant remember what exactly they were thou.

I normally use Digital Camera rechargable batteries, Mainly SONY that are 4800mHa. They last a LONG time, infact my GF's MP3 player lasts a week easy on 2 of those and she uses it on the train every morning.

I always use dBpower amp music converter, because it's quick and free and reliable For wma to mp3, I use Power mp3 wma converter cos it was the only one I could find online that did not beg for $50 squillion to use the bugger... it only does one song at a time though, otherwise you have to pay for it.

I'm such a thread hijacker :sm_headba

Look harder or get new glasses. :P
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for them next time I go shopping.

I use AAA batteries from our walkabout phone, not only does it play with them, but the phone charges them when you put them back in!*

*For this to work, you really need at least 2 walkabout phones.
