Just need some advise about ford territory AWD removing old factory studs and replacing longer n wheels stud.
what l am trying to find out if hub have to be remove from axles before replace longer stud due fitting 12 mm space for my new rim ?? |

12mm is a lot for a spacer and also very illegal.

Yeah, I've been where you are.
12mm is pretty extreme for a spacer. I wouldn't want to do that. Unless the spacer is a perfect fit, it's going to put a lot of stress on those new studs. If you need 12mm, you should consider using adaptors. They should provide a much firmer mount. And whilst I assume the reason you're doing this is to avoid the rubbing of wider tyres, at 12mm I'd be starting to worry about how far you're pushing the outer edge. |

Pretty sure your insurance company has justification to deny claims on the basis of non compliant modifications as well.

Yes, the hubs will need removal to do the work neatly and safely. This means four new pac nuts to buy.
If the spacer has a centring boss and matching counterbore, and made of material no weaker than the wheel hub it is pretty safe at 12mm. I worry more about the zoned-out legions of motorists who plague our roads. |

What wrong with this ??
Running a 12 mm hub-centric spacer (not adapter w/studs). Just used some longer ARP lug studs to make up the difference. As long is done properly . New rim is only 10 mm wider inside so i add two mm make up 12 mm to be on safeside any comment ?? |

Front is a small problem due the front hub assembly and rear is ok so what i have been told the rim will fit the falcon not the territory by the manufacture and so i took the gamble my self . Rim is only 10 mm wider inside rub front hub assembly but not the outside and the new set of tyres are standard size on 19 inches rims Cheers
