Default Getting a Crow Cam?

ay guys

just been looking around for wade cams cant find any..stores only seem to have crow cams...burson quoted me 370 for a mild cam 1100 to 3800 (lowest one)...i thought F!K that.

wen i payed autobahn a visit...i was talkin to this guy tony awhile about cams, he made a few fone calls and got me a price on the 1100rpm to 4400rpm medium crow cam (not the mild one) and sed $399 (so $20 more then the mild cam from bursons)...is that a good price?

then an additional $145 for the timing gear and $90 for all the valve springs (which i apparently dont need coz my engine was previously turbo'd so i was told it has tougher ones in atm) so all up its roughly $630 for everything or $540 without the springs...am i getting ripped off?? will crow cam be a worth it upgrade? has anyone had bad experiences with it?

considering a wade cam is $120 change over.. with uprated springs not neccasary...
the timing gear should be available for cheaper. ($110ish)

IMO, get the cam from the guys that grind it. If you want a crow cam, call crow. If you want a wade cam, call wade....

Crows are more expensive because the are billet cams, not regrinds. Means you dont need to mess around with shims (if you care about that sort of stuff). There is nothing wrong with regrinds though
