I'll be working in the service department. He said the first 6 months will be basically going out to collect customers cars, directing customers where to go in the morning etc.. then after that they will have me do work on cars.

Look after my Fairmont V8 and Fiesta and Laser when they come in.
First year of an apprenticeship is really ,then it gets better
Stick with it and you have a job for life, either as an employee or your own workshop.
Best of luck.

Nice one mate!

As i said on MSN though, if you turn into what 95% of every other Ford Mechanic is - a useless, car flogging "its not my car so i dont care", impossible to work with or understand, good for nothing idiot who knows SFA about cars, i will slap you.

That said, good luck :.
