Done this just recently- on the inside top lid the 4x5mm fixed nuts have around 5mm purchase to skrew in an adaptor plate (make a gasket to fit)

The adaptor (in your size 65mm,70mm etc) has to be cut at 40deg and welded/sanded , then it clears the top of the lid for you round pod style filter.

In all honesty i dont think by itself it got all it could , hence at the moment i ripped the entire box and snorkel out, and am trialing a barrier in the total area to the bonnet / front light, rubber to seal off heat and so far takes in a large area to draw from as well as access to wheel arch holes, and cold air from round the light. no radiator heat as well, and air conditioning pipe is in there too.
