Default time to sell the EB :(

well the time has come, i have too many cars and my wife says i have to let either the EF or the EB go:(
they both have their good points and bad points but the EF being a Fairmont Ghia 5.0 won in the end.
you may remember the EB from such threads as "AU motor into EB", and "new front bar". It started life as a humble Gli, and with the help of my fellow SA members, (thanks heaps guys), we turned it into an au6 powered, bodykitted beast. its now dumped on superlows, has USC side and rear skirts, a GT style front bar, moffat vents, fairmont seats, s pak dash, new tints etc etc...it also has a 3.27lsd, extractors, hi flo cat and 2.5" system.
I don't want to let it go as its the most reliable car i've ever had, and always puts a smile on my face when i take it out
I don't have many pics of it handy, as im away from my puter. in the pic i do have its not quite finished, but its complete now.
I'm thinking of asking $4k ono offer for it, does that sound about right? remembering the AU engine is at around 50,000k's (from new). and to the person that said it needs too much work, screw you, you don't now sh1t ;)

4k sounds about right phil, its in great nick, and looks awesome...

you really shouldnt have trouble getting that amount of cash for it.....

make sure to chuck up some updated pics in the thread as you can...so people can get a real indication of how the front looks..

Nah I cant, $4K would finish the torana and the parents would kick me out if I bought home another car.

It will sell easy at $4k tho I would imagine.

The EF must be nicer because that EB is gold.

thanks for the comments guys....
tumor - i put the motor in at least 18mnths ago, if not more... so the thread is fairly old. might even be on the old forums. as for how it runs, it purrs lol. starts first time every time. like i said, its the most reliable car i've ever had, since the motor has been in the only thing i've done to it is regular maintenance, and fitted the cam. with 50,000k's on it its still a baby. never had a problem with the auto either....

as for the "if it was a manual", if it was i'd probably be writing a thread about how sorry i am to have to sell the EF lol

Id be interested in it, for my brothers first car. Just thinking how id get it to Perth, most likely fly/drive back. Also interstate rego, it might have to go over the pits.
Sounds like a good buy for $4000, ill have a think about it. ;)

easier than people make it out to be...... mechanically the swap is simple. i also fitted an EL ECU and BBM at the same time, but i must admit without Dan's (walkinshaw) help, that wouldn't have been anywhere near as easy.
