The EF fans are two speed I believe, someone else may be able to confirm this.

Ive got EL thermos, I just wired both fans together and the Wolf triggers them at 70deg, easy job and the motor revs up quicker... oh and there's a ИИИИeload of air sucking through the radiator/IC

dont mean to hijack- how do people hook up thermos when you want them to work with aircon? is that what the single speed fan is for and two speed one for the engine?

im about to set up a set of EF thermos in my NC im using a loom from this pdf http://www.daviescraig.com.au/docume...structions.pdf
its on the seccond page, loom number 5 the fan on the passenger side is a twin speed fan with EF fans, so im going to just hook it up on fast speed. it "should" work.......well...ill probably find out this weekend... |

one question i do have, where is the BEST place in the engine bay to get power for the thermo loom... i do not want them to operate with the car turned off..... and i dont want to have to run the thermo loom inside the car to get power from the "accessories" wire

Easiest way is to get a Davis craig thermo switch, $60, and a relay. Wire it straight to the battery, and the realy to the ignition, Set the thermo switch to turn on at the temp you want
