well on your ps your allowed to drive 125kw to the tonn so all you gotta do is get the flywheel kw and then divide it by the weight of the car..
eg.. my eb xr8 = 165kw at the fly (stock) the weight of the car is 1440 so 165/1.44 = 114kw to the tonn i hope this help. |

Technically, an EL XR8 has 175kw at the flywheel, while the updated EL XR8 had 185.
If you use the rule above, where you are allowed 125kw per tonne, and the XR8 is roughly 1.6 tonne, then you do the following; 175/1.6 = 109kw/tonne. This means you come under the limit by 16kw/tonne, so you're OK. The only problem you may have, is that the police will pick on you seeing P Plates on a V8. But 'legally' you are allowed to drive it. |

I hope so. I'm driving my XR8 around while i'm still on P's. It's got massively load exhaust but i just keep the revs down (manual) when going thru towns, just so i don;t get any second looks.
Just don;t be an idiot and ya should be right
