Default I want a falcon, who wants a gemini???

I know this thread should go in the for sale section an stuff, i will post there in a minute, but i want a falcon again as quick as possible, i hate little old cars.. but for someone who likes these sorts of cars, this is a VERY good example of a TG Gemini. I paid 4700 for this car 2 weeks ago, i've spent 500 on it for a roadworthy.

HOLDEN GEMINI:

NEW RED MICA PAINT PROFFESIONALLY DONE

13" POLISHED DRAGWAYS, CUSTOM INTERIOR

1.6 LITRE COMES WITH 2.0 LITRE ENGINE SIDE DRAFT WEBBERS 2 1/4" EXAUST WITH NEW EXTRACTORS

POINEER HEAD UNIT, 6 1/2" POWER PLANT SERIES FUSION SPLITS, 6 BY 9 POWER PLANT SERIES FUSIONS, AMP 4 CHANNEL POWER PLANT FUSION,

BRAND NEW PEDDERS SPORTS RIDER SPRINGS IN THE REAR

COMES WITH ROAD WORTHY, 8 MONTHS REGO, READY TO DRIVE PHONE: MIKAL 0422 610 239

Im after a falcon, EB Upwards.. Or something similar..

Could take it up the mountain at bathurst, just jokes. Do you know a 289 drops straight into a gemini, can't get it rego'd but. I had one for about a year until it rusted out behind the heater and chronically fogged up every morning. I had steam coming out of the heater vents...

MMMMMmmmmmmm.

Hi there Evlelf. I was just perving at the INIMEG and wishing there was a road that linked Tas to Vic. We were in North Melbourne last weekend buying a newer car for my wife and it cost us nothing shy of $700 for the return trip. My point is, we still have our '97 Futura Sapphire F.S. and I only want to sell this for another toy as I need a toy that I can ENJOY DRIVING.

Your Gem looks real sweet and I would have it at the drop of a hat.

a short note to all you Nay Sayers, not all of us have one eye.

If I could afford the return Boat trip, YES, it would be an offer for a trade.

As I cannot, then the answer would need to be a reluctant NO.

I admire the time that has gone into the Gem and I am in the Market for a suitable "Toy" for me to hand the keys to my Boy in a couple of years time.

Have a look in the F.S. section for any more clarification

Cheers
Steve

hmm, what your selling, is what i was hoping for in a trade.. i am interested.
How much does it cost to put a car on the spirt of tassy ?? e.g i put gemini on at my end, you put falcon on at your end, we collect cars in melbourne and tassy with no need to travel ?

Contrary to popular Belief dude, I AM ACTUALLY INTERESTED. I am still waiting for you to get back to me. My part of the deal with the Boat expense still stands too. I'm not here to mess anyone around.

A gemini for an EL? Damn I should have kept mine.
The best I could swap mine for was a neat EA2 and mine was turbo!!!

I have a little gemmy at home, but I drive the Ford daily, and it gets to tow the green beast around.

A little more fun to drive then the falcon I must say, but that probably got something to do with the Charged 3.8L 6 (soon to be twin charged) under the hood. :thebirds:

Thats not a bad lookin gem by the way.

Thumbs up

In 13 hours time ppl, I will be the one that has defied what all Ford ppl believe to be the "Unwritten Rule" (Going from my EL Futura to a Gem)

All the best to EVLELF with the Futura (it has served us well)

My Son will be thrilled to bits with the Gem as it will be his first car.

I will still be popping around the forums from time to time, so I can keep up to speed with everything. (I would have preferred the XD Ghia than the Gem but without a cash sale, it was a lost dream)

All the best to everyone here in AFF and keep up the good work
