Default Opinions on supercheap compressor

Has anyone got one of those 2hp compressors from supercheap, just that i was thinking about getting one just to be handy to have arround, and seeing these are cheap I thought id grab one. Also if someone does have one how gutsy are they, (what tools can be used etc..) I know these things wont be too crash hot but im not going to use it that much like i said it would just be handy to have around.

They are fine for occasional use.

The pump and receiver aren't big enough for more than spraying small items (maybe a guard if you're lucky).

You won't run air tools on them other than short intermittent bursts - not enough storage capacity.

But, very handy for pumping up tyres, blowing dust out of things, air brushing etc.

You can't go wrong for the price.

edit: speeling

To paint anything you need at least 14cfm of air and these don't come even close but when will you be painting a car? These are great for sandblasting and air tools and because they're small don't take up half the garage. You'll never get any spare parts backup because they will be some cheng shin brand but what do you expect for $150 or so.

I have one and have thrashed it,and it just keeps going. Runs my die grinder, air 1/2" air ratchet, and rattle gun, nail gun and staple gun, best $80 I have spent.
