hey guys,
well after buying this XR8, Ghia5L pointed out to me that the snorkel was MIA....lol....so i am looking for a new one and was wondering what one (other than stock) would fit on an EB XR8 and also be better than stock? |

Get the EL GT one mate.
The AU XR8 ones are also good, but with them you need to mould it a bit to clear the powersteering pump on the 5L. I'm talking from experience, I've had both on my V8.

ebay or the WANTED section here will be your friend in this case ;) (I second the EL GT call).

It's all good though n1ko, mine just sits there :P
It's shaped to clear the PS pulley anyway so it's not like things will go bananas in the engine bay due to a loose snorkel fouling on the spinning pulley and getting yoinked into the serp belt. If it is used in conjunction with the clutchfan shroud then you can just tap a screw through the shroud plastic. If you're using thermofans (ie, no shroud anymore!), then just leave it sitting there. |

AU TE50 ones fit with a bit of customising. Bigger than the ELGT one.
