Fair call. I guess I should've said these have been out for a while now and there have been numerous threads regarding these lights (and the EF/EL ones)

I'll say it another way now:

altezza's are cr@P!! uglest taillights iv ever seen, the EA-ED ones are even worse than seeing a VT commodore with monaro styled chrome/clear taillights!

I have no problem with the idea of them, but these just don't look right.

I asked quite a while ago about the legality of these, but if going to 'Altezza' tail lights I would like to see a better job done, rather than just these, which look as though the only thing changed is the removal of the coloured lenses.

The 'Altezza' lights can look good on some makes, and models, but EA - ED does not come under that catagory I'm afraid.

too right. the EF/EL ones from twinlight look pretty good, there chrome inside and use the same lens pattern as the standard lights but its all clear. they look good on silver cars.

the EA - ED ones dont suit purely because of the boot garnish taking up the whole back and its black/grey, so the clears just look tacky!

its the same with say VN commodores too.

I've seen this suggestion here before - wondering if keeping red lense for the brake light might look better.

i like mine, but i agree, the only thing i would have wanted from these, would be red reflectors, they do need a little colour in em

the ebayer i bought of ensured me that they meet adr requirments, and theyve been given the ok, but if for some reason i get pulled over because of em, ill guess ill get a full refund, ive had mine for bout 3-5 weeks, and ive had no worries.

p.s to anyone else that has a set, does sometimes, 1 brake light looks darker then the other? i dont know why mine, do, and its not just the same side either, 1 will be bright, other dull, and vise versa, sometime they both be nice and bright

purple '94 ford fairmont ef, mechanically, in perfect condition, cosmetically, a few minor scratches, small dent on the boot above one of the tail lights and most hideous thing, on the back bumper, paint looks like it eroded, the surface just below the boot, its blackish, and feels pretty grainy, other wise id say none of the above i just said has anything to do with the tail lights

Errr thats like a 3.5-4" dump tip lol. Nuts!!! Looks awesome>
I prefer EDXR6T's tailights over those ebay ones. Like the AU's every man and his dog, including taxis has them nowadays. These are custom.

what a load of cr$p.....
"- EA series 88-91

of Falcon, Fairmont, XR6 or XR8

*** For EB (91-93) and ED (93-94), it is possible to fit BUT customer will have to accept that they need to a) cut out where the existing brackets are; b) drill some new holes; and c) make modifications to wiring harness and globe holders to connect the reverse lights on the rear bootlid garnish to this set of lights. A lot of work BUT this is the only clear style on the market that will fit EB and ED ... ***"

there not even EA lights. and they dont fit into Eb-d without mods, what the hell are they for then.....

check my taileys outon my site there clear ones i got a FOR Ea, and fit straight, looks great i think with the fresh blck garnish and the black outline on the lights....
