Engine.... brand new rx8 test engine straight from Japan. 165 kw @ engine Run with Microtech ECU Will be supercharged soon..... Enjoy... Mike

Awesome!! I've always wanted to build one of them. Came close a couple of years ago but didn't have any garage space to build it.

Well said, I think it's missing a few things yet, like a roll bar and maybe some kind of re-inforcing. Looks good though

I visited the PRB place where they build these things up to a turn key car out the back of Chullora. They also build these things with frames made of honeycomb composite materials that are glued together into a frame to bolt all the hardware onto. the frames are lighter than the steel tube frames and also much stiffer....
One getting built was powered by the 180kw S2000 engine.... |

Was taken for a ride in a clubman once.....effing loved it.
Wind in your face, feeling every ripple in the road through your **** thats only about 3 inches off the road, ears full of noise and goes like stink...plus easy to work on - just grab a stool, sit down next the front wheel and start working on it.. One day I'll grab a PRB kit and just do it but might have to get the 66 Mustang out of my system first.... |
