ive just realised after a quick walk around the car that my passenger side blinker is orange whilst my driver's side is clear. is that a normal design or were they running out of gear from the parts bin? weird.

Haa thats quite funny/weird. Both should be orange plastic with clear bulb. You can get clear ones (XR4/ST) from the UK or off a golf/ ls focus as they are the same.

It is funny indeed. Is it a 2nd hand? if so, maybe the previous owner got distracted while changing the side blinkers and he/she totally forgot about the other one

Yea, as Hyperkid says, is the car second hand Morbo?
May have been in a smash on one side and they replaced the cover with whatever was available at the time. They should both be Orange. |

Lol - i hope not I bought it new.
Yeah i thought it was weird. Its as if they ran out of the yellows in the parts bin and put in the clears. Wasn't sure whether its deliberate, like how the subies have one reverse light or something... |

No no no - the side blinkers below the side mirrors.
So weird. I remember reading some other post where another guy had found that his fez had its indicator with a reset button for the trip computer. Anyway if i do decide to care, i'll perhaps decide to change it to either all orange or all clear. Though i dont really mind it as it is. |

What probably happened is your was build just before or after a batch of ST's were heading down the line and they ran out of orange so used white. It should have been picked up at final check at the factory and/or at pre delivery.
I would buy a Focus clear and use it. |

Focus lense & amber bulb will cost you $35. I can give you an orange one if you want.

haha, thats funny morbo, but glad you like it now!
Because mines black, the orange indicators stick out like BANG in your face style, so i tinted them to blend in more with the black, looks cool i reckon! |
