Default Door Handles

I just got some ef/el door handles from ebay for $30 and i was told that they fit straight into my ed. Dose anybody know how to get the old door handles off my ed.

a fair bit of work involved. removing the door trim, and and the connecting rods. while you at it, you could fit EF/EL door trims. You have to remove the inner door handle connecting rods to fit the exterior handles... just a thought.

thanx yea i might give it a shot and your car looks pretty good.
i didnt no that the ef door trims lined up with the glove box so it looks pretty even

yeah its a bit tricky, you have to take al the trims off and stuff, i dont know if it will be there on the ed but on my ebII there was this metal plate on the left rear door riveted over the area of the exterior handels behind the door trim, just drill the rivets out and if you feel like it rivet it back in when your done.
