I am currently building a XC Wagon, Went with the wagon cause i wanted something a little different to the norm, And i am into car audio in a fairly big way and i can fit a fair bit in there.

Ute (cab chassis trayback) for heavy work,a tarp slung over the ladder racks makes a great tent for camping,for more comfort and occasional/lighter carrying the wagon would fit the bill..

an xh ute look so hot if you find one in good nick. Chuck on some mags and dump it with some engine work and your laughing. Get a v8 and its a bonus, beside utes dont weigh as much as wagons and you can carry the same kindov stuff in both.

Panelvan!
I had to chose between Van or Ute, and took the van for more security of my gear. I would have loved a wagon too, but couldn't find one at a descent price. It's a bit annoying being 18 and only having two seats, as you wanna go places with mates, but it's sweet for parties and camping etc so you can sleep in the back (could do that in a wagon too though). If I had a choice again, i'd maybe go a nice XE wagon for a project, or EF/L (but couldn't really afford anything that new).. But i'm attached to my car now, so don't wanna swap it for something else! What kind of 'work force' are you going into? Trade or something else? |

I have a panel van ,as it's was cheaper than a ute and you can lock your stuff in it better
 Or the other way was this beast I saw the other day

I have both a ute and a wagon (Territory).
So I have the best of both worlds
