Default Highest, Longest, Biggest...

I found this a quite humerous read.....and it sounds all to true (in my own experience after being here 5 years anyway!)

Hmmm, Dubai does the same for the northern hemisphere...

I couldnt believe it when i found info saying that there is a building on the Gold Coast that claims to be the WORLDS tallest residential only structure....

Didn't the yanks build their version of the coat hanger that was all of 5 metres longer so thay could steal that record from us???

I think it's called the Q1, and it's said to be the tallest residential building in the southern hemisphere only, not the world.
It certainly looks impressive from the ground, and it has an observation deck up the top somewhere so people can have a good look around.

Try 7 or 8 star hotel, not just 6.

They have so much though, including a new (not sure if it is finished yet) residential dome, where a whole suburb can live in snow 365 days of the year....in the middle of the desert! Snow all year!!!!!!

They are clever though, because they need some revenue once the oil dries up. You have to wonder though whether the whiz-bang things they keep building will become white elephants in 10 years time.
