Default Switch Panel Mounted on Roof

Hi All, i want to put some switches in my car for my neons and lights, just want to know if any of you can help me with my setup that I was thinking of,
having on the 'X' Missile Switches and the blue strip as a neon, I'd obvioulsy need some sort of plastic plate to mount on the roof, but the real help i need is wiring up the circuits. how would i go about putting wires along side the panels of the car, i'd need to take the lining out and so forth, how is it done:S? or is this to much of a hassel????
thanks
Ash

Yes you would need to take the roof lining out, you need to pull all the interior trims out that go around the roof lining, as well as the lights and sunvisors. Go around the roof, undo all the philips head screws, then the pillar trims are clipped on, use a flathead screwdriver to gently lever the clips off. You can run the wires down behind any of the pillar trims, no problems there.

Now whether or not it will look good is your call, as it's your car, I remember my old man had a roof mounted console in his CF Bedford van, that was cool as!... in 1986 :P

I reckon if you find a 2nd roof lining and trim the switch board in that fabric it would blend in and look good.
