I'm already there.

Well I'm a Lowndes fan anyway. I don't really support anyone else in the V8s, other than Lowndes.

any decent person would agree it was bad sportsmanship by the leading holden drivers. i was quite a fan of garth tander before phillip island, not anymore.

... I highly doubt there will be a horde of holden fans defecting to ford. Most of them don't watch V8s and wouldnt care. They won, so why defect to ford. Yes lowndes has earned a lot of respect in the holden camp, does not mean they would go ahh bugger it, I'll go for ford now.

If lowndes and ford did that to Kelly I would laugh, but thats because Kellys a complete t0ss. If they did that to Tander, I wouldnt exactly be impressed but hey, how many of you would defect to holden if that happened .. ?

I'm not saying that GMH weirdos aren't welcome just curious why someone would drive a Ford and barrack for Hold-on in the Supercar series.

i believe that it all began with the toll/hdt manager saying to rick "dont worry about damage to the car...we dont need it next year" the ****** took that as a "take lowndes out, we'll wear it later" also didnt help that he had a hand the process by being blocked first by tander, then by todd. bad turn of events and a lot of controversy, but i dont think it really warrants holden fans defecting to ford. if anything, they think rick deserved it after all the problems he has had in the past (all of which he brought on himself anyway) as far as im concerned, rick is a self-rightous pompas ***** who gets mummy and daddy to bail him out of any trouble he gets into. at least todd has a bit of self respect and respect to other drivers!

I know the feeling. Every time the Brisbane Lions got beaten last year I thought to myself "We woz robbed". About time Toyota entered their nascar into the supercar series, then we could have a real race series.

I don't think we should be giving any holden people here any stick as long as they aren't stirring trouble. After all, people are allowed to be car enthusiasts, not just holden / ford enthusiasts.
Anyway, the best thing lowndes can do now is beat the little ahole this year. That would be a fitting act of revenge.

Have you ever been to the track and there is a group there who have slicks, the spare tyre and anything else that can be unbolted removed, a huge CAI with no filter, half the exhaust removed, little bottles of additives placed in tank, bags of ice on the plenum while in the staging lanes, exhaust sound with more lumps than the alps and 4000 rpm stally but tell you they are "stock unopened" and want to take you on?

These cars seem to all have the same badge and the drivers have the same mentality. Winning by ANY means regardless of sportsmanship or rules is perfectly OK.

Guess which badge........

LMFAO!

I really don't think we will see many defecting, as lot of Holden people still support Lowndes and didn't jump ship when he did.

Depends on what team you barrack for, but I'm prepared to concede that the Lions didn't win, however I can't forsee fans of other teams flocking to support the Lions either..

Can't stand Kelly... in the world ****er contests, ts a toss up between him and Mark Skaife. Lowndes certainly deserved the title but what can you do. Holdon drivers are generally arrogant, aggressive asshats so I'm not surprised...

The Lions don't suck as such, they just need to sort some things out. And its a good thing that they got rid of Akermanis, his mouth is too big.
