Sounds like a bad connector in the circuit.

I just did a ring around today looking for one for the LHF.
Wreckers are about $70 for a second hand, Ford were $160 for the upgraded BA actuator with adapter loom. I found a wrecker in Moorabbin who's selling the same part for $125 new. I forgot which one it was though, so I'll find their number tomorrow and will post it up for you.

mine i think is a lack or power/current
if i listen to the back pass door then the back drivers door the door which has failed sounds like a long click not a sharp click as the other doors going to check the voltage later then it could be that i bought a new dud so option 2 is to plug the faulty one into other door for test perposes ill let you know |

EDIT: If you bought a brand new actuator then this obviously isn't your problem ( well it shouldn't be for a brand new part anyway ! ) , but if you bought a secondhand 1 this might be the problem. cheers

well tried again
ITS FIXED was the green clip that goes onto the interior door handle where it seats was worn so after a couple of movememts it moved back away from handle which in turn made the cable slack and that inturn made the door lock motor foul on the slide the opens the door from inside bought a new internal handle it made the cable 2mm longer then the slide would go past fixed something so simple worth checking if anybody else has the problem |

I replaced an actuator with a second hand one when I bought the car and it hasn't failed me yet. Luck of the draw.
