Hi I have been having troubles finding a glue which will adhere to the plastics cups and glass for my passenger window wind up struts...has anyone had to do this and if you have what did you end up using it seems the silicone based products just are not strong enough.

Maybe rough up the plastic with course sand paper and superglue?
