Default AU Power Steering Pump Pully

hay.

Just wondering how you go about removing it off the pump?

Its got an allen key hole in the front but im not sure if it's clockwise or anti to remove and whats the method behind it.

I have to get a new one tomorrow and need to know how to remove the old one so any thoughts would be great.

cheers.

you need a special tool, there is an allen key hole, but it isn't a screw or nut, it is moulded into the end of the shaft. i'm not sure where you would get the removal tool from, but it hooks into the lip around the edge of the pulley and has a bolt that screws into where that allen key bit is...

Fairly sure its pressed on, so the tool you would need is a puller.

Mate,

If you're not in a great hurry to get another pump or you have trouble trying to get the pulley off, here's another solution worth looking at.

Chippy..
