Post EA alarm installation

I have started installing an alarm into an EA falcon. I have run into trouble in wirrig up the indicators to the alarm.

The alarm unit has 2 wires that need t obe connected into the left and right indicators. I have tried to splice them into the hazard lights at the bottom of the loom that connectes the indicators/horn/wippers. The first time I connected it up it, it worked fine and I was a happy man. Then I soldered it all up and things got funky. When I tested it, the the oil and battery light where the ones flashing and the incators did nothing. I checked the indicators to ensure they work correctly and they did. I couldnt figure out what was going wrong

Next I would try and wire it into the wires that connect to the indicator stalk. I traced the wire and cut the connections, but the incdiators still worked!!! I cant figure this out! I am trying to obation a wiring diagram to determine if I can figure this out. Is there any one here that can help me out.

Thanks

BTW, how do you run the wires for the tweeter through the dash in an EA? (Same one)

To make the indicators flash, as I just fitted an immobiliser to my car, you need to wire the Alarm wires to the 1st and 3rd Wires (Green & Green/blue i think) on the stalk connector.

yep indicators are green and green/blue. Just pick up the wires under the steering column where they go into the plug.
