I actually drove this exact tiburon in its targa debut in 2002, i think.

we knocked off plenty of porsches, ferraris etc as well. doesn't go in a straight line, but it has great brakes and useful balance.

from memory, i think we were 25th in the modern competition.

and all they ever had to do were spanner checks. nothing went wrong, nothing broke, the only drama we had was almost running out of fuel on Cethana on the way up the hill, dropping about 30 seconds or so.

Of course everything that Ford builds is world class.......... isn't it? :
.........I'm sorry, at which point did I say Ford was world class? At which point did I refer to Fords? At which point did you decide I was scared? I dont believe I mentioned that anywhere- do you?
Please.......... don't make me laugh.

Haha go the hyundais, wonder if hyundai gets as many warranty claims as ford does????Doesnt matter if you break down during a race or how you lose, a loss is a loss and a win is a win under any circumstance,so give credit where credit is due. Well done to beat so many great cars. :king:

true. the following year we were in an XR6 Turbo and went porsche hunting properly.

It was running 14th when it siezed its power steering pump, ripped the pulley off it, lost its water pump and alternator and died.

then it came back only to break an engine mount.
