I haven't laughed this hard in a while!

I've been pretty fortunate, haven't had anything pinched from my car yet. Although years ago my dads commodore was stolen from port stephens, turned up a couple of days later in Redfern, had been used in a ram raid. The boot was full of clotheshangers.

A few years ago, a mate of mine risked his life to get some great photos. He was fishing on a game boat off of port stephens, and had a fair size marlin at the back of the boat. He thought it'd be a great idea to get some underwater shots of the fish! Stripped down, grabbed one of those underwater disposable cameras, jumped in and got his pictures.

Left the camera sitting on the rear seat when he and some friends went out to dinner, came back and the car had been broken into. Of the thousands of dollars worth of fishing gear sitting in the boot, the only thing missing was the bloody $10 disposable camera.

"Only thing i've ever had stolen from my AU is the valve stem covers for the tyres... I used to use these blue chrome ones... they looked really good. Lost about 3 sets in as many weeks."

Ironic thing is the thiefs must be loosing them off their own cars at this rate. Must be the same person having 3 sets stolen in 3 weeks. He would be pretty anoyed at having to steal another set once you gave up and stuck standard caps on.

Back in my younger days (prolly 3 years ago) I was of the belief there was some conspiracy involving people stealing hubcaps off Ford Focus'.

I used to see Focus all the time with their hubcaps missing.

And finally... my sisters Focus caps went missing.

A couple of weeks later she had new caps.

Somehow, I figured it was a circle of life.

* Please note: there may be a case of thief, or genuine purchases in my post. Who really knows the outcome?
