Hey. Just a query as to what tyre profile and width people are running for 18" rims on the e-series. I've got a set of 18' rims less tyres and am not sure whats the best profile to go with as to cause minimal upset to the speedo reading.

235/40/18
these are only 3mm(643mm) in overall diameter smaller that 205/65/15 wich are 646mm. you can have up to -2/+2% difference without affecting speedo. go to www.kumho.com.au/tips_diameter ![]() EDIT. What car is this for?

Your tyre profile should be based on how wide a tyre you are going to use, you need to keep the rolling diameter as close to standard as possible

yeh, going from that calculator, the 235/40 would be the best match to go with. thanks for that guys. time to hunt down some tires.
