Hi Chaps
I have a little Problem with my AUII Forte. My speedo needle is a bit jumpy. It happens all the time, but is most noticeable while varying speeds or at idle. When at idle and i give it a stab rev, it will jump up to about 30kmh. I am no longer confident in trusting what the speedo says because of this. I would prefer not to change the cluster as i would like to retain the exact number of kays. It is all stock standard and I have tried pulling it out and re-plugging the cables back in again. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so, do you have a resolution? Cheers All

i think this has come up b4 and ppl where saying unplug the harness from the sensor on box and spray with wd40 then plug back in. i have the same problem but only happened a coupla times and cant be bothered getting under the car!

Yeah ... give the connectors a clean with RP7/WD40 or the like ... if this doesn't work ... it's then a faulty speed sensor in the side of the transmission.

which connectors am i looking for, the ones at the back of the instrument cluster?
