gday guys im just wondering what the average price of a dyno tune is?? just want to get a few ideas so i can put some coin aside for when it gets done..

yer, cause im pretty sure they are expensive. i think your looking at $800+++++ for a proper tune, it just depends what you want done.

Well do you mean tune as in edit? Then your looking at $1k pretty much. Tune as in fiddle here and there and check the difference, maybe $150-200.
Although hold your horses, because there is a new edit thing coming out called Stinger. More competition will mean lowering of costs.

well im putting an el/ au engine in and am going to turbo it, so i guessa a full tune and edit would be in order...
iv seen some places in mornington cheapish... |

yeh im thinking au lol, the issue's i have are exactly what will i need 2 do to have it running proply in an ea that was mpfi..oh nd was manual 2

I cant give you an exact answer with the box, but no great reason why a T5 from an e series wont fit an AU as they have T5's aswell. Then again, if you are going to seriously boost it then an auto might be the way to go, depends on what you want.
There are HEAPS of threads about it, do a search. As for the engine, rip that old MPFi POS out and put the AU in (with mods of course). You will need all the wiring and ecu's etc. Again, threads about it all over the place.

Mate just grab an AU wreck and transfer everything you can if you want to be serious about it.
