Default Auii Fairmont Ghia Boot Gas Struts

I have bought some Boot Gas Struts.Can someone please tell me if these are hard to put on and some how to do it help.

Just use a flat blade screw driver to lever the clips out and remove the struts from the pivot ball.

When replacing them, pry the clip out just far enough to push the end over the ball, then push the clip back on fully to secure the joint.

A little bit of dry lubricant on the pivot ball is helpful when replacing the struts also.
